SAP SAC Analyst - SAP S/4HANA Transformation
We are recruiting on behalf of a government-sector client seeking a highly skilled SAP SAC Analyst to support the delivery of ERP finance domain solutions as part of the SAP S/4HANA transformation program.
This role requires a strong background in SAP reporting technologies, specifically SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) and Budget Planning & Consolidation (BPC). The successful candidate will work closely with the ERP Finance Project Manager and subject matter experts to deliver functional and technical designs for analytics solutions, driving process improvements aligned with new ERP system designs.
Key Responsibilities
- Convert business requirements into workable functional and technical designs and provide realistic resourcing estimates.
- Design, build, configure, implement, and test quality technical solutions.
- Provide Finance domain Planning subject matter expertise to translate requirements into sustainable solutions.
- Drive a more integrated view of service, infrastructure, and assets through a unified view of activities across all systems.
- Identify project risks and issues, ensuring they are addressed and resolved in a timely manner.
- Enable supporting technologies, such as automated testing, for use across multiple solutions.
- Improve analytical and reporting capabilities to help monitor performance and guide decision-making.
Essential Criteria
- 5 years of experience in the SAP SAC domain with strong hands-on planning and reporting skills.
- Ideally at least 3+ full SAC life cycle implementations.
- Experience with other planning tools such as BPC.
- Good functional knowledge of planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes within an Australian Government context.
- Experience building models and dimensions in SAC in a large enterprise environment.
- Expertise in building formulae in importing jobs and configuring delta loads.
- Good understanding of SAC planning architecture and integration to S/4HANA.
- Degree or relevant qualification in Management, Finance, Information Management, or Data Management.
